11th July 2019 By eTravel Wonders Leave a Comment

If you are thinking about where to spend your next vacation, Italy may be your best place to visit to enjoy your holidays.

This beautiful place located on the Mediterranean peninsula gives you the opportunity to appreciate the world’s greatest architecture and sculpture, imposing works of art by renowned artists such as Michelangelo and da Vinci, and visit a number of historic sites that will leave a mark on your life.

With lots of perfect places to visit, Italy is one of the best vacation places in Rome.

5 Travel Tips and Advice to Plan Your Next Trip to Italy

When you travel to a particular place as a tourist, it is important that you have a series of necessary information before starting the trip.

The best 5 travel tips and advices you can follow to plan an excellent time in Italy

  1. Check that you meet all the requirements to enter as a tourist

Sometimes you may not need a tourist visa to visit the destination country, but this will depend on your country of origin.  However, if you need one, the formalities are not so difficult if you make them well in advance.  Remember that in order to opt for this type of VISA you will have to have a valid passport, not appear on the lists of the European Community (by this, we mean that you should not be judicially sought or have been expelled from the country before), prove that you have sufficient financial means to travel, take out health insurance and prove that you already have a place to stay while you enjoy your holidays.

  1. Choose the best month to travel

If you have the option of being able to choose the date of your trip without complications, the most advisable thing is that you find out about the climate and the temperatures of the place.  You must also consider your favorite type of weather, the budget you have, if you want to be in the place to enjoy a special event … the date you choose to spend a dream vacation really matters.  Keep in mind that January, February and March are the coldest months of the place but if you like, you can enjoy activities in the snow, just remember to wear appropriate clothing.

April and May are considered good months to travel.   June, July and August are the hottest months so if you like the beach, these are the right months for you to travel.  September is considered the best month to travel, with good temperature and no crowds.  October, the month of autumn, will conquer you with its romance and nostalgia, while November starts the cold season.  Without a doubt December is a month full of magic, full of decorations and happiness, a perfect month to enjoy many Christmas activities in the area.

  1. Choose if you want to travel in high or low season

High season in Italy takes place during the summer months and for this reason, you will find that prices on products and hotels are much higher.  Generally, December is a month classified as high season and the same goes for Easter, Italian Carnival, April 25th and May 1st.  The disadvantage of travelling during high season is that you will probably have to deal with long lines and expensive prices, even to eat in a restaurant.  In low season, prices decrease considerably, but you might also find some problems with the climate and also, some tourist services decrease their services.

  1. Choosing the right place to stay in advance

This is one of the most important aspects and decisions you should take into account for your next amazing holiday in Italy.  You must choose the right hotel and when you do, also think about the location and the economical part.  Choosing a good hotel location will give you the opportunity to move more easily around the city so you can know as many places as possible.  You can choose places like Florence, Naples and Venice, which besides being beautiful, have to your disposition an endless number of activities to realize.  You can also search for information on the web and read comments and opinions of the hotels you have in mind.  Remember that choosing the best Holiday place to spend your vacations is important for you.

  1. Get a SIM card

If you want to make your travels in Italy comfortable and easy, you must purchase a CARD Italia SIM card.  You’ll probably want to stay in touch with your family and share photos of all the beautiful places you’ll visit and what better way to do it than to have a secure internet connection and the ability to stay in touch with your loved ones, even in case of an emergency.  This type of card allows you to acquire a data packet without the cost of roaming, so you can have access to a phone number in Italy.  Already in Italy, you can get this card in any store selling cell phones
