Della Madonna Della Ceriola Sanctuary
One of the most interesting places to visit in the place has its origins of the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Ceriola date back to the middle of the 5th century, a small chapel on the top of the island dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary which was created as a symbol of purification of pagan superstitions.
This incredible sanctuary is 23 meters long, 7.5 meters wide and 10 meters high, has a single nave and there you will find a barrel vault resting on a terracotta cornice supported by pilasters with capitals of Baroque origin, a place full of ornaments that characterize the vault and the dome of the presbytery.
The main altar is made of black and white marble, two Corinthian columns supporting the entablature, and the tympanum.
You will be able to see the beautiful triptych formed by the Virgin in the center and the golden wooden statues of Saints Faustino and Giovita.

Due to the greatness of the structure and the richness of its decorations, the parish church of Sale Marasino is one of the most important examples of the 18th century in the area.
The façade is marked by pilasters with Corinthian capitals ending in a curved tympanum.
In the upper strip, there is a large window, flanked by niches housing the statues of Saints Zenone and Giacomo, and in the lower register, you can see two semilunar windows.
The interior, a central floor with a Greek cross, divided into three naves and crowned by a dome, and the presbytery, which protrudes from the central body, is completed with a small dome of lesser height and elliptical shape.
